Red Thread: The Politics of Hope in Guyana. The first edition of this book was called "Social Movements 1768-2004" but since I read the second (2009) edition, the title was updated and extended to encompass "Social Movements 1768-2008". I argue that the progression of the anti/alter-globalization movements, while not linear or mutually-exclusive, can be Social Movements, 1768-2004.
